The Meed Program HistoryThe MEED Program was established in 1986 as a technical training program for individuals with disabilities. Graduates left the program with advanced microcomputer skills ready for competitive employment situations in computer-related positions. Over time the Program evolved and broadened to allow students to pursue a variety of academic programs and earn College vocational certificates and associate in science degrees and then assisted these students with a variety of employment assistance services. The contents of this Website were developed under a grant from the Department of Education. However, these contents do not necessarily represent the policy of the Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the Federal Government. |
