About Mayra Cakes

Mayra Cakes is a family owned custom cake bakery established in 2001 in Miami where you will find the most delicious and creative custom cakes in South Florida for any special occasion including wedding cakes, birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, religious event cakes, holiday cakes, cupcakes, cake bites, Cakes Push Pops, and all other occasion cakes.

How it all started

Some people already know what they want to do in life since they day they were in grade school, for me it didn't start out that way. I was born deaf and so with that I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do with my life. I decided to try out being a chef so I went to Johnson & Wales University. It was during my second internship at Specialty Bakery where I truly discovered my passion with cakes. Since then, I have been making unique cakes and exceeding the expectation of my customers. I currently working alongside with Jason who is also a cake designer who provides me his art design expertise to make my cake decoration tailored to customer's taste and dreams.
